its timeless

Artist Names?
Kago Manyake and Segofalang Modisenyane

Tell us about you and how you would you describe your "art"?
its timeless

Where are you based?
Gaborone.

How long have you been making "art" and how did you get started?
We have been making 'art' even before we met. But our Colabo started in 2011 .

Do you come from an artistic background?
Sego: i come from an artistic family. It's just that none of us has bothered taking what we love any further than just a hobby.
Kago: the only thing artistic about my background is my childhood. I had a vibrant and colourful childhood as far back as i can remember from primary, i'v only ever had teachers who have influenced and encouraged my artistic side that helped fully express my love for art later in my life when i started to excel in art that is now represented in the form of photography .

What inspires you? What are your influences (Who or What)?
Sego: well photography is the only way i can stop time.
Kago: there are instances in time when you come across a moment of awe when experiencing a particular scene, site or view. In capturing the moment I take you through what i view as breath taking

What is your most proud accomplishment so far?
Getting a new Camera

What are your tools for creating?
A canon 600D, a canon 1100D, a reflector. And creativity.

What sets you apart from the others?
Photography is not just a career or another way to make quick money but it is rather a skill that we have advanced overtime, a passion that drives for quality as opposed to quantity. Exploring the different media representations has helped us break the bounds of what one would perceive as photography thus being the reason why our love has grown more towards the inclination of abstract photography amongst the other categories that we cover.

Where are you trying to end up? (5 year plan?)
For a timeless piece of art only time will tell where we end up, only thing we can determine is by what means we will get there

What are your favorite things in life so far?
Playing with Kids who make you forget life's worries

If we gave you P1M what would you do with it?
Give back to the folks for keeping up with what we put them through and how far they have sustained us then invest in a photography studio and more professional equipment before traveling Botswana to explore the and capture our country in ways that only a creative mind can think of.

Any advice for people trying to do what you do?
If you dnt have a love for what you do, your doing it for the wrong reasons

Where can people buy/get a hold of your work?
some of our work is on our page 'Tshipidi'
